Evaluation Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

 

  1. Novelty – how is the design unique or innovative compared to other designs in the same category?

  2.  Benefit to user – how will this innovation benefit the intended user through its performance, comfort, safety, ease of use and cost / affordability?

  3.  Benefit to the society

  4.  Commercialization – innovation meet the client’s need? Is it an added value?

  5.  Scientific value of the invention or innovation.

  6.  Others: publication, recognition, award, intellectual property
